Who We Are
Principal: LaTricia Mathis:
LaTricia Mathis started her path in education as an elementary teacher in 1993. Since that time, she has taught many grade levels. Graduating with a Master’s in Educational Leadership in 2006, she has since been a school administrator at both the elementary and high school level. She came to The New America School-NM is 2009 to be the Assistant Principal and in 2013 was honored to be selected to serve the students and families of The New America School-NM as the Principal, leading the school through two successful charter renewals and overseeing the graduation of more than 600 students.
NAS Albuquerque Staff And Teachers
The New America School-New Mexico is overseen by a Governance Council which on the second Wednesday of every month except July.
